Our events are really important to us and we are always looking for ideas and venues.
Hosting a fundraising event not only helps Todos Juntos Jávea immensely but is also a great marketing tool for your business as we announce all our events through our website, newsletters and Facebook well in advance of the event itself. APRIL FASHION SHOW
Todos Juntos Jávea and Shoolala presented a fashion show at Jávea Golf Club on Thursday. It was a superb evening and raised the amazing sum of 1100€.
The models were stunning, the clothes were fabulous, the shoes and bags were gorgeous and the tapas were scrumptious. A truly lovely and successful evening.
Salones Carrasco, 14 December 2023
The room was beautifully decorated, creating a great sense of anticipation and the service from Salones Carrasco was excellent throughout the evening.
The grand total of €3500 was raised through the buying of tickets prior to the event, a silent auction, a very exciting tómbola and a small auction of just three items (which raised nearly €500 on its own). Salones Carrasco also donated €1 per person.
After a delicious three course dinner the dance floor was packed as the multi-national diners were up on their feet to dance to The Working Band featuring TJJ’s very own Alan Robinson on keyboard. At midnight we all headed for home; tired but very happy!
As we plan to support some young Jávea families in the near future, this money will help significantly.
A FABULOUS EVENING OF SPANISH CULTURE!
A splendid evening was enjoyed by almost 100 people in the Casa de Cultura on 24th October 2023. Jose Manuel Cortes and his family, the group Fardiquera, performed to a delighted audience. Intricate and amazing guitar playing, exquisite dancing and a true insight into the wonderful and many skills of the world of flamenco.

What an amazing TJJ night at restaurante A Bordo in Jávea’s beautiful port. From the view on arrival, through David’s passionate and informative presentation on Sorolla, through the delicious meal to the out of this world performance by the whole Jose Manuel Cortes family to the final excitement of the raffle with the lucky winner of the stunning Sorolla print everything was perfect! And we raised 1500€!

HELPING A LOCAL ARTIST
June 2019
When fires raged through Pinosol park in September 2016 and destroyed hundreds of trees, one man decided to use his skills to return some beauty to the devastated area. Miguel Angel, a local gardener, used his considerable artistic talent to transform dead tree trunks into works of art. He carved beautiful shapes into the trunks, making them more into fantastic images of animals and birds. This painstaking work he undertook for free, giving up his precious leisure time as a labour of love. Kindness such as that should be rewarded, but apart from the huge gratitude of local residents, Miguel did not seek fame.
However recently he was very much in the news but for the wrong reason. Whilst his van was parked by the bus station in Javea, thieves broke into it, and stole over €3000 of equipment. When this came to the attention of Carmen Alesanco, the President of Todos Juntos Jávea, she immediately decided that TJJ should support Miguel in a practical way.
Todos Juntos Javea, this very local charity, did exactly what the name suggests. It brought people together to raise money for Miguel.
Debbie Clarke, the owner of Café Cortado opened the café on Sunday when it is normally closed. Carmen cooked a huge paella, and 40 people bought tickets for lunch. Debbie arranged a DJ, Gary Miller who created a wonderful atmosphere with his music. This event was arranged at incredibly short notice, but thanks to the time and support of many people over 600€ was raised to help Miguel start to rebuild his tool collection.
OK in MAY

TJJ had a fantastic night in May at the wonderful Azahar restaurant with the inimitable OK Band. A fashion show by the lovely Antítesis shop added to the excitement of a truly fabulous evening.
Thanks to Dirk (Azahar) Leticia (Antítesis) and the band for their support and generosity.

CAROL DRINKWATER
June 2019
A splendid afternoon was spent in the beautiful l’Albarda gardens on 7th June with Carol Drinkwater best known for her role in James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small.
She spoke enthusiastically about her life both as an author and actress and was proud to launch her latest novel The House on the Edge of the Cliff.
Cava and canapés were enjoyed by everyone and as always Todos Juntos Jávea was very happy to be the charity chosen by the organisers Rhona Wells and Pat Lancaster.
SHINE, DINE & DANCE
OCTOBER 2018
45 fabulous friends of TJJ Shone, Dined & Danced at Jávea Golf Club on Saturday 13th October. The evening was a great success with delicious food and fantastic music by DC3. 380€ was raised thanks to the generosity of everyone there.
INTERCAMBIO SUMMER

The Intercambio group at Cortados Cafe celebrated their end of year course with a paella evening. As their nominated charity they donated 350€ to Todos Juntos Jávea. Debbie Clarke and her staff along with Jean Halse hosted a wonderful evening with a stunning paella made by the TJJ President Carmen Alesanco.
CHARITY GOLF COMPETITION

On 2nd June Todos Juntos Jávea was delighted to be the chosen charity for the annual Four Ball Better Ball Stableford competition at Jávea Golf club. As always TJJ would like to thank everyone for their kindness and help especially the Golf Club, Vins I Mes and Mundo Marino for their very generous prizes and John Button for his beautiful painting. So many people to thank so THANK YOU EVERYONE who participated in this fabulous event.

The children who designed the new TJJ logo receive their certificates at Vicente Tena at their Christmas Concert. Adrian Lararosa Serrat and Maria Roello Ivars each presented a very special design which we put together to make our super new logo.

TJJ and Paris 24 hosted a 100th birthday party for a very lovely lady Cynthia Hedley. With collaboration from Parasol Care, Mimis Hairdresser, Lancashire Bruja and Liz Yardley the event was a great success.

The TJJ team with help from Maria José had their annual stall on the Easter Market. A beautiful Easter Basket full of cava and Easter Eggs was raffled.

The first ‘Ven a Cantar’ was held with the participation of the schools in Jávea. So many children sang both in the Plaza del Convent and Plaza de la Iglesia. Everyone enjoyed hot chocolate and mulled wine as well as delicious cakes made by parents and friends.
